Our recent stay at Beryl was a delightful mix of comfort and tranquility. Nestled near Wells Cathedral, the location is ideal for a serene getaway. The gardens are meticulously maintained, and we enjoyed sitting in the Japanese Pergoda by the pond, a lovely spot for relaxation. The Master room featured a spacious sitting area, plush bed, and a well-equipped kitchenette with fresh milk for our tea-small details that add genuine value. Free Wi-Fi was a bonus, ensuring we stayed connected while unwinding. Breakfast offered a variety of local produce, excellently prepared, and communal afternoon tea provided a taste of home with freshly baked cake. While Beryl is not the cheapest option around, it strikes a good balance between luxury and value, with thoughtful amenities such as free parking and a seasonal outdoor pool. For families like mine who cherish peaceful escapes but also appreciate quality, Beryl is worth considering for your next stay.
